2027 MINI Oxford Edition: Price, Equipment and Eligibility
Small-car buyer guide
The 2027 MINI Cooper Oxford Edition starts at $26,850 for the 2 Door or $27,850 for the 4 Door, including destination and handling. That puts either body style $4,000 below its regular Cooper C Signature counterpart. The Oxford price is available without the old recent-graduate requirement, but its equipment choices and summer tires deserve a closer look.

Compare prices with the same charges included
MINI’s 2027 model announcement lists both Oxford versions from July 2026 production. The prices below add the published $1,350 destination and handling charge to the base MSRP.
| Model | Base MSRP | Destination and handling | Starting total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cooper C 2 Door Oxford | $25,500 | $1,350 | $26,850 |
| Cooper C 4 Door Oxford | $26,500 | $1,350 | $27,850 |
The corresponding regular Cooper C Signature models start at $29,500 and $30,500 before that same destination charge. The $4,000 difference compares published starting MSRPs; it is not a cash rebate. Taxes, title, registration, accessories and dealer charges remain additional, and the seller sets the actual transaction price.
The equipment is more specific than the price suggests
Oxford is a curated Cooper C configuration. The announcement specifies Sunny Side Yellow, Blazing Blue Metallic or Nanuq White Metallic paint, a black roof and mirror caps, Grey/Blue Vescin-and-cloth Sport Seats and an Anthracite headliner. The 18-inch Slide Spoke 2-Tone wheels come with summer tires.
The current Oxford equipment page lists heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, panoramic moonroof, MINI Head-Up Display and Parking Assistant as standard on the Cooper C Oxford models. Those details are more useful than assuming a lower starting price means a stripped cabin.
The current Cooper technology description includes a 9.4-inch circular OLED display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Try your own phone while parked, including navigation and audio controls. If CarPlay drops out, the CarPlay disconnection guide separates wireless pairing checks from an app that stops responding.
Budget for the tires and check rear-seat access
Summer tires are a meaningful specification, not just wheel styling. Michelin’s tire-category guidance explains that they are designed for warm conditions and are unsuitable for winter use. A buyer who faces cold weather or snow should price an appropriate tire setup, including installation and any seasonal storage, before treating the purchase price as the complete cost.
The four-door costs $1,000 more. Use that comparison to test the task that matters: helping a passenger into the back, loading your own child restraint or carrying a regular bag. Rear doors improve access; they do not establish that a particular seat or load fits. Keep the front seat in its normal position during the check.
No graduate requirement, but a reservation has its own terms
MINI’s current Oxford FAQ removes the earlier graduate restriction and lists the Cooper 2 Door and 4 Door as available. That manufacturer statement does not confirm a particular seller’s inventory, allocation or delivery date.
For an online reservation, read the linked MINI pre-order terms. The program has separate eligibility conditions, and a reservation guarantees neither delivery nor a set selling price. Confirm the exact build, itemized price and expected delivery before making the final purchase decision.
