The 2027 Kia Niro Hybrid now has published U.S. prices, five trim levels and a clearer technology split. Every version is front-wheel drive, and the LX starts at $31,385 including Kia’s $1,495 destination charge. The useful comparison is which equipment earns its place in your budget, rather than treating every larger screen or driver-assistance feature as standard.

Five prices, with destination included
Kia’s U.S. pricing announcement adds an S grade and lists the following base MSRPs. The right column adds the same $1,495 destination charge to each. Neither column is an out-the-door quote: taxes, title, registration, options and dealer charges are additional, and the actual selling price can vary.

The hybrid powertrain is shared
Kia’s 2027 specifications list a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and electric motor, with 139 combined horsepower and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. This is a conventional hybrid, without a plug-in charging requirement. The U.S. lineup does not offer an all-wheel-drive option.
Moving up the trim ladder buys equipment rather than a higher combined horsepower rating. If AWD is a requirement, settle that before deciding which Niro grade to buy.
Kia’s current U.S. comparison chart lists EPA-estimated 53 mpg city, 46 highway and 50 combined across the five grades, including the SX Touring’s 18-inch-wheel configuration. Actual mileage varies. For a personal fuel-budget comparison, use the same annual distance and fuel price for both vehicles; purchase price, insurance, maintenance and financing still belong in the ownership calculation.
The touchscreen and the instrument display are different
A 12.3-inch central touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are listed across the range. Built-in navigation is listed on SX and SX Touring. The separate 12.3-inch instrument display is listed on SX Touring; a central-screen measurement does not describe the gauges behind the steering wheel.
The chart also places Highway Driving Assist 2 and the 360-degree Surround View Monitor on SX Touring. These are assistance features with operating limits, rather than permission to stop supervising the car. Confirm the exact equipment on the window sticker and read the applicable instructions.
