2027 Kia Carnival Prices: Gas, Hybrid and Seating Choices

Matching 2027 Kia Carnival grades shows a $2,000 hybrid premium; entry prices differ by $4,000.

Compare the price on the same basis

Kia’s current U.S. Carnival and Carnival Hybrid retail pages list these base MSRPs and a $1,545 destination charge. The final column adds that charge once. Taxes, title, license, options and dealer charges remain excluded; dealers set actual prices.

The hybrid premium is $2,000 at each shared grade: LXS, EX, SX and SX Prestige. Because destination is the same, adding it does not change those differences. Optional packages can change an equipped comparison, so the table is a starting point rather than an out-the-door quote.

Seat count can change the comparison

The gas 2027 specifications distinguish seven-passenger LX from eight-passenger LXS. EX and SX have eight seats as standard; their second-row captain’s chairs require the optional Dark Edition Package. “Available captain’s chairs” does not mean every example of those grades has them.

Hybrid LXS has eight seats; entry-model comparisons therefore change both powertrain and seating configuration.

Fuel use is a separate calculation

Kia lists EPA-estimated combined fuel economy of 21 mpg for the gas lineup and 32 mpg for the hybrid lineup. Actual mileage varies. Converting those estimates gives approximately 4.76 versus 3.13 gallons per 100 miles, calculated as 100 divided by mpg.

That comparison describes estimated fuel consumption over the same distance. It does not establish a particular family’s fuel bill or when a purchase-price difference will be recovered. The price comparison and the fuel-use comparison should remain visible separately: one is a manufacturer reference price, while the other starts from an estimated consumption rate.
