2026 Subaru Uncharted: Prices, Range and Trim Choices
2026 EV comparison
The 2026 Subaru Uncharted’s least expensive trim is also its longest-range version: the front-drive Premium. Sport and GT add all-wheel drive and more power, with lower EPA range ratings. Here is what the three configurations cost and what changes between them.

Compare the price with destination included
The current U.S. 2026 specifications separate the Uncharted into Premium FWD, Sport and GT. Their starting prices and power ratings differ, and the longest-range configuration is the front-wheel-drive model.
| Trim and drivetrain | Manufacturer-rated power | Base MSRP | MSRP + $1,450 destination | EPA-estimated range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium FWD | 221 hp; single motor | $34,995 | $36,445 | 308 miles |
| Sport AWD | 338 hp; dual motors | $39,795 | $41,245 | 287 miles |
| GT AWD | 338 hp; dual motors | $43,795 | $45,245 | 273 miles |
The totals add the $1,450 destination and delivery charge in Subaru’s December 9, 2025 pricing announcement. They exclude options, taxes, registration and other transaction charges. Subaru lists $1,600 delivery in Alaska and possible variations in several other states; confirm that line on the actual quote.
Premium and Sport make a real drivetrain trade
Moving from Premium FWD to Sport adds $4,800 at those listed prices. It brings a second motor, AWD and a higher stated power output, while the EPA range rating falls by 21 miles. That is the comparison to make before treating the more expensive version as an automatic upgrade.
Sport also adds a heated steering wheel, roof rails, StarTex upholstery and a 360-degree camera system. Both Premium FWD and Sport use 18-inch wheels. Decide which equipment you would use regularly, and inspect the view from the driving position rather than making the choice from horsepower alone.
The range numbers are now EPA estimates for specific configurations. They replace the broad manufacturer estimates used around the launch. They are not a promise of highway distance in winter: Subaru’s current footnote says actual range varies with driving conditions, weather and vehicle condition.

GT buys different equipment, not more quoted horsepower
The $4,000 step from Sport to GT keeps the same 338-hp rating. GT adds 20-inch wheels, a panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats and Harman Kardon audio. Its EPA range is 14 miles below Sport’s. That comparison describes the complete configurations; it does not isolate how much of the difference comes from wheels or any other individual feature.
Read charging claims with their starting conditions
Subaru specifies a standard NACS port, up to 150-kW DC charging and approximately 28 minutes from 10% to 80%. That is a partial recharge on suitable equipment, not a zero-to-full time or a rate maintained throughout the session. Battery preconditioning is included, but temperature and the starting charge still matter.
The standard 11-kW onboard AC charger describes the car’s capability. It does not turn every home connection into an 11-kW supply. The Department of Energy’s charging explanation identifies vehicle charger capacity, station output, electrical service and battery state of charge among the factors affecting time. Check the actual home installation and the compatible stations on your usual routes before relying on a brochure charging figure.
Check the cargo floor before comparing space
Subaru’s current specification sheet lists 20.8 cubic feet of cargo volume with the deck board in its upper position and 23.0 with it lower. That floor position belongs beside the number when comparing another vehicle. Try your normal luggage or bulky items in the configuration you would actually use.
A useful final comparison has the exact model year, trim, wheel size and delivery charge written down, alongside a realistic charging plan. Keep those details together when reviewing a quote; neither a different model year’s specification nor the largest range number in an advertisement describes every Uncharted.
