The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid’s $35,490 starting price needs a timing check. Nissan’s current U.S. preview expects the SV in January 2027; the limited November launch is the SR with Technology Package, listed at $41,490 before destination.

Launch configuration versus lowest entry price

U.S. preview prices and expected timing
Configuration MSRP Expected timing
SV AWD $35,490 January 2027
SR AWD $37,490 January 2027
SR AWD with Technology Package $41,490 Limited quantities, November 2026
Platinum AWD $43,490 January 2027

The September 21 U.S. press kit lists $1,575 destination and handling. Adding that charge gives $37,065 for SV and $43,065 for SR with Technology Package. MSRP excludes tax, title, license and options; the dealer sets the actual price.

Compare the intended grade and month; neither the entry MSRP nor the expected launch date is a vehicle-specific offer.

Electric motors drive; gasoline supplies energy

Nissan describes e-POWER as a hybrid in which electric motors alone drive the wheels. A dedicated 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine generates electricity; it does not mechanically drive the wheels. The U.S. model uses two drive motors and standard all-wheel drive. Owners refuel with gasoline rather than plugging in.

Nissan separately identifies a 2026 Rogue Plug-In Hybrid. Keep that name distinct from the 2027 e-POWER model.

Read the fuel-economy footnote

The September press kit gives the SR a target of 41 mpg city, 36 highway and 38 combined, based on Nissan internal testing and subject to EPA confirmation at publication. Those figures are Nissan’s SR targets; check the EPA rating for the exact model when comparing vehicles.
